The Flats of Cumberland

Introducing The Flats — A healthy, sustainable and connected community in the fast-growing village of Cumberland. This unique community offers amenities such as bike wash and repair stations. First established in the 1800’s, Cumberland was traditionally a coal mining town. Fast forward and the village is gaining quite a reputation for itself. Home to arts, culture, eclectic live music and world-class outdoor recreation, our Cumberland Development is the gateway to the amazing Comox Lake and is now renowned for its world famous mountain biking and hiking trails overlooking the beautiful Comox Lake.

Set in the heart of the mountains, Cumberland is under 35km from Mt. Washington ski resort with a summit of 1,900m serving both beginner and expert skiers & snow boarders with over 120 runs not to mention the back country! In the summer, transforms into something rather breathtaking and offers numerous outdoor activities to suit all ages.
